2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th and 6th Grade Full Curriculum Live Online Classes
This class covers a full year of reading, writing, phonics, and math curriculum based on common core standards. Learners are welcome to join the class at any time. Although some class content will build from the previous week, it will not prevent the new learner from understanding the concept we are covering during the current week. For example, some weeks, learners may choose to continue a writing piece they started in a previous class, or we may continue reading a book we started in a class prior. In both these circumstances, new learners will be given all the information they need to be successful in class. .

Ms. Amanda
Teacher
Hi, I’m Ms. Amanda! I have been a U.S. state certified teacher for over 12 years both in-person and online. I have my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education. My Master’s degree is in Classroom Technology. I have TESOL, TEFL, and ESL Specialist certificates. I taught English as a Second Language for four years in a school district. For the last eight (plus) years, I have been teaching online to over 5,000 students and over 15,000 classes! I have spent my entire teaching career specializing in teaching English, and love what I do!
I have worked with children ages 3-18 and excel in forming a positive classroom environment. I find my kind and upbeat personality allows me to connect and engage with students in my classroom. I believe when learners feel more comfortable and welcomed in their environment, they will become more active in their learning! I love building relationships with students as they begin to express themselves in class and take their learning to the next level!
When I am not teaching online, I am homeschooling my son! I enjoy spending time with my family, and taking care of my little "zoo" including multiple dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, and fish! I love swimming, and cheering on my son at his various activities!
Thank you for taking the time to learn about me, and I'm excited to begin learning together!
